Las Azucenas, or, “The Lilies”, is one of the oldest and most successful Trickle Up savings groups in Central America. Beginning with 20 participants back in 2009, their success as a community bank and agricultural collective has swelled their numbers to 54 and even grabbed the attention of Guatemala’s Ministry of Agriculture.
